Overview
When Art Becomes A Refuge
Healing Igloo is a 360° immersive visual experience designed to help students unwind during the end-of-semester rush. Housed inside an igloo-shaped structure, the installation features calming, meditative visuals created by students in our TouchDesigner class, offering a peaceful space for students to relax and reset amid busy study schedules.

These visuals were featured as a wall projection at our school's annual fall show, presented live to hundreds of visitors and families.

Learnings
This TouchDesigner project pushed me beyond traditional 2D design, and seeing my work projected at scale within an immersive space for a live audience felt incredibly surreal. Watching people slow down, unwind, and engage with the visuals firsthand reinforced my passion for creating design that extends beyond aesthetics—experiences that foster reflection, enjoyment, and meaningful human connection.
The project reshaped how I think about my goals as a designer and motivated me to continue stepping outside my comfort zone. Moving forward, I hope to keep creating immersive, engaging visuals that resonate with and delight audiences.
